Difference between athlong 64 3200 512k vs 1m cache

A tore i was looking at offer both model, but the 512k model is 50 dollars more( can fund) than the 1mb version.

Why?

The 1m version is mroe crappy?

Dont bother looking price its just an example.

One of the cpu is clocked at 2.2 BUT with 1 mb and $34 cheaper
the other is clocked at 2.4 but with only 512k cache BUT more expensive.

FOR GAMING ONLY(i dont care about application stuff etc), i better go with the 2.4 clocked on right?

Yes, get the Newcastle (512 cache). It's cheaper, and they perform about the same. I hear the Newcastle overclocks better, if that tickles your pickle.
