I recently got a JVC Everio hard-drive based camcorder and have made a bunch - probably too much - of little movies involving friends, family - a mock Twilight Zone episode - etc. I got an old copy of Adobe Premiere 6.5 from an IT guy that I work with, and it seems to do the job (though it has crashed on me a few times.)
But someone else has offered me Adobe Premiere Pro v2.0 at a reduced price ($200.00 which is quite a way down from its $849 asking price). But given that I'm not a professional or anything (although I do tend to prefer software marketed toward the professional than for the everyday user) are the features in Premiere Pro 2.0 worth the money?
What's annoying is I can't actually find any comparison between the old Adobe Premiere and Premiere Pro except that Premiere Pro is a rewritten version of Premiere.
Any thoughts or info would be very appreciated - thanks in advance🙂
