I just stopped by Microcenter asking if they had any Athlon 3000+ in stock. They didn't but they had a Athlon 64 3200+ retail at $271.00, so I bought it positive it was a good deal. I know AMD just released the 3000+ not too long ago and at the time the 3200+ was going for around 400-500, so I was shocked, but when I came back to work and checked online I found two different models of the 3200+ retail box but can't figure out any difference between them but the price. The ada3200box seems to go for around ~400 and up, while the ada3200aep5ap seems to go for anywhere between $230-400. I know there was a retail for $299. I know the 271 was a good price for it, but if it wasn't phenominal, I'm going to wait and save my money for a later proc. What I'm asking is does anyone know the difference between the two model numbers for the Athlon 64 3200+??
Thanks!!
