Difference between a mole and a virus?

Some guy at my work who thinks he knows everything and is always trying to find computer questions to stump me to make him look smarter asked me this question yesterday. He said that he read about it in a magazine and it said that only the best computer people would know the answer. I've never even heard of a mole, so I thought I'd ask you guys.

he probably meant worm as a worm and virus are slightly different.
 
Computer Mole?

The only thing that I can think he could possibly mean by that is like a double agent. That would be a person, whereas a virus is a program.
