Difference between a Dual Pack and a Dual Channel Kit?

In trying to pick memory I've come across packages that are sold as "Dual Pack" and others that are sold as a "Dual Channel Kit".

Examples:

Dual Pack

Dual Channel Kit

What's the difference between these two and which one am I better of buying (for a dual-channel capable motherboard)?

There is absolutely no difference as they are one in the same. Marketing terms...

Edit: The first choice has a 2.5 CAS latency which will be somewhat faster.

The cheaper one "dual pack" is cas 2.5 so it's faster than the other. I don't think it makes a difference what they're called, you can use two non paired sticks in dual channel if they are exactly the same model of ram.
