difference between 7800 GT CO & 7900 GT CO?

the 7800 GT CO, I see, has been discontinued and I'm trying to compare specs to see if it's worth it to upgrade.

any help?

The 7900 GT CO should be a lot faster than the 7800 GT CO.

7800GT CO: 20 pipes, 470/1100 MHz

7900 GT CO: 24 pipes, 500/1500 MHz

7900GTO cheaper than most 7900GT's, much faster than a 7800GT CO...or you could wait for the 8800GTX/GTS which will be available in Nov.

That evga 7900GTO is a great deal.

To OP:
X1900XT's are also pretty nice (the 512mb model, screw the 256 one).

Or you could wait for the 8800GTX/GTS in Nov.
