Difference between 6800LE, 6800, and 6800GT?

I believe the LE has only 8 pipes and is clocked the same as the 6800 ..

wouldn't that mean that it would then has less performance than a 6600gt??? Because a 6800 relies on its pipes. Its raw clock and memory speed are substandard to the 6600gt
