Where would I see a difference if any? Mushkin has my pc 133 222 ram on sale 128mb for $89. I was thinking about adding 128mb if it would help me. thanks!

...128 megs...????:D

Seriously though there is a difference between 128 megs and 256megs. it is very small though in windows 9x/me about 2% and perhaps as much as 100 % in windoes 2000. I don't know aobut other oses. YOur gain though is very much dependant on the program being run. Som propgrams show very little gain een in windows 2000 while some show enormous gains.

That's about all in know in this matter.

Completely usage-dependent. Win2000 runs fine w/128, but chokes on 64MB--it could perhaps benefit. I've rarely had problems with 128MB, but since I'll be doing audio editing soon, I'm getting all of 512MB! (2x256)

Based on your usage, you probably wouldn't notice any difference at all - unless you're a heavy multitasking person running many office applications at once.

"Can never get enough of RAM, or HDD space." How true

I told my 17 yo nephew that I had a 30Gig HD. He was shocked and said that I will NEVER use that.

Well that's what they told me in 92 when I got my Huge 540Meg HD and in 95 when I got my 3.2Gig and I was sure that my 9.1Gig UDMA4 I got in September 98 would be good for 5 years.

LOL :)

When I got my 60GB, I didn't have that feeling "I'll never have to upgrade again". Sure enough, ONE month later, it was full, 1GB left on the drive.
