difference b/t dell's wxga, wsxga, and wuxga laptop?

with all the dell deals out there,
i want to buy a portable desktop from dell.
i was looking at the screen options.
i could only find that it's a difference in resolution but will there be noticable difference in picture quality when watching movies, is it justifiable to spend an extra $100 on from the wxga to the wuxga?

W series = higher pixel count and widescreen (black bars will be smaller when watching a widescreen dvd movie). They should also be a little brighter and offer a wider horizontal / vertical viewing angle.

Overall "I" would consider the 100.00 upgrade a viable option, but only you can make that decision.

i think wuxga might be overkill except those into graphics design.
i just wanna watch movies and surf the web.
