diff between TI-83 and 83 plus?

160k of flash memory in the 83+ and the ability to use Flash Apps (which you can download and install). The 83+ does come with a trivially smaller regular ram storage.
 
TI-84's come with the ability to graph functions of X, as well as the ability to look up function parameters (a help system).

Unless you've got a calc teacher that won't allow anything higher than a TI-86, at least on tests or quizzes. That was this semester in Calc2. Calc1 teacher last semester didn't allow any calculators on tests or quizzes.
