Well guys, what is the difference between Adaptec's 29160 and 19160. From what I've read the only differece is the type of cables the card comes with and OS software support. Is this all it or are there more differences.

If it doesn't work in DOS then how do I fdisk the drives connected to it?

You would be correct about the 19160 being Windows only sort of. While the card will technically work in other OS's, Adaptec is not providing drivers for anything but Windows 9x/Me and W2K Pro. They are not providing drivers for Linux, W2K Server, etc., but I'm sure someone will write a Linux driver if they haven't already.

It will work in DOS but there may be limitations like it (DOS) not seeing anything beyond the 2nd drive. The EZ-Scsi utilities come with programs to get around the DOS limits. (AFDISK instead of FDisk, etc.)
