Diferences with Z68 Motherboards

Some Z68 motherboards require a discrete video card and some don't. Looking at the Gigabyte boards, they indicate this with Z68A & Z68X

The X indicates that you need a video card, effectively making the machine a bad option as an HTPC or main (low power drawl rig) down the road when you upgrade.

I'm not sure what the "A" means.

Im guessing its just gigabytes naming scheme as the z68 chipset allow for the use of either the discrete or integrated. Just up to the mobo makers to decide if they want to put the outputs for the integrated on the board

and gigabyte probably just went with A for including and X for not
