I'd like to report...

4 days a week of gym, moderated diet, I have lost 14 pounds...

I'm proud of myself 🙂

offer me a cookie, I'll eat it anyway 🙂

I went to the gym 4 times a week.

I've upped it to 5-6 times now...and yes, I still play WOW regularly 🙂

I'm 5'9 and 210. you woudn't guess it though, I'm very broad shouldered and "thick"

even at 185, I still had a 38 waist, but my body fat was at 15% going from a few years ago when I was thin 🙂

it's ahrd work, but I'm starting to enjoy it 🙂 I like to see how much more I can bench press as the weeks go by.
 
you have 15% bodyfat with 38 inch waist at 5'9? Are you the second incarnation of buddha? Do you have like a Ronnie Coleman chest (60 inch+)? im at 10% with a 27 inch waist with 44 inch chest. Keep up the weight loss man!
 
it's hard to explain...but my father is russian armenian, my mothers side is scottish /german. I get my fathers phenotype. I mean, I have a very large chest even if I dont work out...not to mention my shoulders. I dont have measurments, and I know it sounds obsurd, but I'm not kidding at all...seriously...it's ridiculous...a large t-shirt will fit me fine, but NEVER fit inthe shoulder region. I'm VERY boxy in the abdomen...

as for my diet? I cut out sodas, sweets (which were never a problem), but mostly I just reduced my portions. thats really the ticket, portion control. if I have a large lunch, I have a very small dinner. Assuch, my illium has shrunk, so even if I want to eat more I can't. 🙂

the ticket is actually the exercise ;-)

everyrthing else does not matter if you do not exercise....bottom line, no arguement...
 
for a while now, but mostly it kept me from gaining....

the actual high gear was april 1st...when I exercised4-6 times a week (im doing 5 now) and reduced my portions.

I do the elliptical for one hour each time....start at level 9 work my way to level 11

for weights? chest, back, arms...my legs are already pretty hefty.
