I got one of them ( spare tires ) and i want to lose it fast. Which is the best working supplement? Xenadrine, Stacker, Hydraxycut? or some other?

I got a gym at my college and im gonna start using it and i need a extra boost of energy to get me going since im lazy hehe. Oh and I was on a diet for 3 months and I did lose "some" weight, i didnt really see the results in the mirror. Thats why I want to try some sort of Supplement.

Also im 6,2 210lbs ( goal is 180 - 185 lbs ) and i have no heart problems, notalergic to anything, no liver problems.

Thanks for any info ;)

pumping the weights is good.. but if you wanna lose weight, cardiovascular excercise is your best friend

run like hell. the only way to burn your calorie fast (second to swimming)

psh.. pills? gimme a break. run on regular basis, work out hard, eat healthy, avoid junkfood.

do those 4 things religiously and I GURANTEE you'll lose a good 10lbs in a month. (even more)

There was something on the CBS Evening News last week about these diet pills/drinks/suppliments. Apparently the government just finished a study on them, I don't remember all the warning signs to watch for, but some were:

Before and After pictures (I'm assuming they're either doctored/fake/not really the same person)

Claims of double digit weight loss in short periods of time (days)

If you drink soda, stop. Find something you can eliminate from your diet each day that's about 200 calories. A 20oz bottle of coke is about that much. Get some exercise (go for a walk each night, this is the best time of year for it) each day, and you should lose some weight.

I've cut out soda in my diet (still drink gatoraide on occasion as well as ice water with RealLemon and enough 2% milk for my cereal in the morning) and eat smaller portions. I haven't cut any particular food out of my diet and I continue to eat everything I enjoyed before. I've lost about 20 pounds in the last three months, and I've kept it off. I go to the gym at least 3 times a week and walk at least half a mile each day (one nice thing about our labs being so far from our offices).

I can tell you that those things DO help, but I am also quite sure that they are not perfectly healthy. I mean what can be if it flushes your face and palpates your heart?

More important than that, however, is that based upon your first post I can say that 100% there is no point in you using these because I know with surety that you'll gain the weight back. Your attitude needs to be totally changed. If you can't lose the weight without these there is no way in hell you'll be able to keep it off without taking them for the rest of your life (that's a bad, bad idea). Prove to yourself that you can lose weight first properly without them and then allow yourself to use them, otherwise you're just wasting your time. You know how to lose weight: excercise more and eat less. Once you can prove you have the devotion and will power to do that, then you can try and add those in. Sorry to sound like your mom ;)

Although diet pills are not the way to go, Xenadrine RFA-1 is the best from the results I've seen among people I know. However, and this is a big however, RFA-1 contains ephidrine which is outlawed in Canada because its basically legalized crack(not really, but close). Its not healthy and it really increase your heart rate, which can lead to many bad things, including death. But hey, its your life, and you get to make the choices.

It is actually closer to methamphetamine. In fact they are idential, except ephedrine has an alcohol group on it that prevents it from crossing the blood brain barrier.

Kinda scary stuff, I took some Hydroxycut for about two months, and not sure if it did anything in addition to my regular workout. But, for the first week or so of taking it, it made me feel all sorts of wierd.

hydroxicut and CLA have both been working for me, in combination with a low-calorie protein shake, portion and calorie reduction, 30 min-1hr of exercise daily, and strength training 4x/week.

I think hydroxycut work-but sometimes it makes me jittery...I feel the need to tap my fingers, etc...not really nervous but just really active, I guess. It made (and still does to some extent) my urine bright neon yellow for the first 4-5 weeks as well.

I lost weight pretty quick (240 to 195) in just over a month with a combination of Slimfast twice a day/STRESS/and will power. I also cut alot of Milk out of my diet I used to drink 3/4 a gallon (skim even) a day (Now I drink water wish a dash of lemon it is quite refreshing and I do not fart as much:p Cut all desserts out of my diet and avoided carbs. I hardley did any fitness stuff besides push ups and keeping up with my 2 year old.

Pills are not a natural way for your body to lose weight and side effects are touch and go for some people. Also Ritalin (which I cannot get a script for anymore) helped me not want to eat a few years back and lost weight then but it is basically "speed" and after I went off it I gained weight back.

It has been months since my weight loss and I have only gained 5 lb back. but I still keep desserts out and try to drink water as much as possible.

good luck

how can you lose 45 lbs in a month only taking in 400 calories a day without your body going into survival mode and using your muscle instead of your fat?

Definitely cutting down on the amount of consumption helps - especially on the carbs, and exercise 3-5 times per week... also Weight Watchers is great if you need that extra monetary incentive to get you going.

The other problem that i have is my mom making me those home style meals. Potatoes, chicken, beef. I wont take any pills, im gonna stick to the gym more. Oh is diet soda OK? i mean there are no calories or sugar.

Also whats worse milk with cereal or a turkey sandwitch on whole wheat bread?

the best is just go running everyday. do a mile a day and youll see improvements within 3-4 months.
