Ephedra does work. You can't buy it in that form in the US anymore, but you can buy ephedrine HCL. It's not magic obviously, but it does kill the appetite.

Where can I get epherdrine HCL? Does it work just as well?

It seems a little less potent than when I was taking it a few years ago, but I was a heavy tobacco smoker then, so maybe that added to its effect. http://www.affordablesupplements.com is a highly rated online store that carries it.

Bah, I have to have it in 4 days. I must find a store to pick up the pills at. How's GNC for this sort of stuff?

GNC will not have any ephedra containing supplements, but they should have ephedra-free Xenadrine EFX, Xenadrine NRG, Hydroxycut, Stacker, and TrimSpa.

I would go with the X NRG or TrimSpa.

Without ephedra it doesn't work. There are a few people who'll be successful on a supplement without it, and half of those would do as well on a sugar pill, but the consensus (which I agree with after trying both firsthand) is that the ephedra is the key ingredient.

heh.. they should never have banned ephedra. it actually worked. if people didn't abuse it and just eat those when they were hungry to suppress their appetite, then they wouldn't die. you would think common sense would tell someone they still NEED to eat when on a pill that speeds up your metabolism. i have no sympothy for those who died from it.

It was that dumb@ss pitcher who died that did the most damage. What was his stupid name anyways? Oh yeah, Darwin Award Winner Steve Bechler.
