Die shrink for AMD

What is the time table for AMD shrinking their die to .09???

This news item says Q2 2005, but it could still be this Q4 year.

It only states the 90nm FX-57 is planned for Q2 '05. 90nm is still planned for this year, and is sampling now.

Preliminary benchmarks are out a few places, but just in forums posts, not in any actual review. They are about 5% faster with sse3 and improved prefetch. I wouldn't think it would be too long until something comes out.

I beleive you are correct about the ~5% improvment... but i think SSE3 is still not ready for the A64s, at least not in the initial batch of chips that have been reviwed so far.
