Didn't realize how much ambient temp made a difference

I had accidently left my window open in cold weather as we went to a thanksgiving dinner and when my room was cold (as it is now) my case and proc temps are 5 degrees centigrade below their normal temps. For some reason I had assumed procs run at x temp no matter what the environment's temp was and that was that.

when it comes to air cooling ambient temp has a effect... obviously if your in a hot room your fans will blow hot air around and not cool as good... when you have cool air your heatsink will cool off somewhat.. atleast this is what ive learned... when it comes to stuff like watercooling i believe it may have a effect on that also due to the rad having more hot air pulled threw or so it would seem dont quote me on that tho
