Well I recently upgraded to a Sapphire GTO^2 (For the record, I paid $215 shipped for it). It seemed to work fine at first, but recently when I decided to play Far Cry again I started having system lock-ups. I tried everything: Unoverclocking the CPU/Ram, Underclocking and overvolting the CPU/Ram running chkdsk, reapplying AS5 to the Video card's cooler(ATi Silencer 5) to make sure it wasn't overheating(it wasn't), installing older drivers, even reinstalling the operating system. Nothing fixed it. Finally I moved the GTO^2 to my HTPC. Installed Far Cry on it and whaddya know, same crashes kept happening. Put the NV6200 TC 16mb, and (after making the game look awful at 800x600 Medium settings) played some more Far Cry. No crashes. Oh well, time to RMA it to Sapphire I guess.
