Did your tolerance for different foods broaden as you grew older?

I know mine did. I used to be pretty picky, now I'll eat pretty much anything with the exception of liver and some other animal organs. (The liver is like a dirty sponge, why would I eat that?) I'm even starting to accept the last holdout of seafood, simply by forcing myself to eat it more often I'm starting to actually like it.

Potatos are an interesting one, I've always liked them, but now I can eat a baked or mashed potato plain, with nothing on it and enjoy it just how it is. Which is good since potatos are actually pretty good for you before you dump a butt load of sour cream or gravy on them.

I've tried a variety of different ethnic foods recently, but I draw the line at eating internal organs. :barf;

absolutely.

tolerance turned into love and the foods I used to not like I now relish.

Yep, and agreed about liver, ugh. :heart: seafood though, various shellfish and the dishes made with them are some of my favorites. I was extremely finicky as a kid.

I've always had pretty broad food interests. When I was in Russia, I ate cow tongue with gelatin and gravy. MMM yummy.

I will eat anything short of fetuses and placentas.

Liver is great. Kidneys are great. Everything is great.

Yeah, there have been a few foods that I would refuse to eat when I was younger. Now I dislike (but will eat) it or think it's okay.
