Did your team (like mine) go to the NIT?

If so here are the brackets.

I must say the NIT has a pretty good field of bubble bursted teams

There is Syracuse, Minnesota, Memphis, Virginia and Iowa (my boys) in there just to name a few.

Good luck to the NIT and NCAA teams.

No way, my team made it in. University of Kentucky all the way. Team Turmoil will prevail. LOL. Actually I wouldn't be surprised if we went out in the first round, but who cares, at least it was an entertaining season.

Currently a junior at UK.

Kentucky is Team Turmoil? I thought that would be UCLA. Both schools may make early exits or go far.

My team California is in the NCAAs, but still got screwed. They play Penn in Pittsburgh, and if they win, they play Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh. Thats fun when you have to beat two teams in their home state to advance to the round of 16.

Nope, my bears are in the NCAA tournament, but we won the NIT a few years back, I think.

Due to the years of inept recruiting by Bob Bender here at the Univ of Washington, not even the NIT for the huskies :(

BENDER NEEDS TO GO! Is there any good reason why ppl like Dickau/Calvary, etc would choose to goto a backwards school like Gonzaga instead of to the biggest school in the state?

Yeah LSU snuck in the NIT with a good performance at the SEC tourney, tough game against Iowa though

NIT is nice for those teams that didn't make it to the NCAA tournament but my friend put it best when he said NIT stands for Not Important Tournament :)

I've always heard it referred to as "Not In Tournament"

I'm curious as to why Georgia Tech isn't in there..They have been on fire recently
