Did your Antec case come with badge/sticker?

I just read somewhere that Antec cases are supposed to come with a 'Antec Outside' badge (cute) except for the fact that mine did not.
 
I've emailed antec and they told me the cases made by them are in antec boxes with antec power supplies. Anything else isn't made by them and is a clone. Also if you want a badge just email them. I emailed them a few months ago about a replacement side panel and they sent me one free of charge, they even paid shipping. So if you all have problems just email them, Antec will make sure your happy.
 
Mine did.

I've also found them to be extraordinarily helpful in dealing with any problems.

My case was missing the HD fan holder and they sent one out free -- granted it's not a side panel, but they are really great to deal with.

My initial email to them was answered inside of an hour and the part was shipped out that day.

 
mine did not come with an antec power supply, and was sold by a reputable local dealer as an antec 'sx1000'.

i hope anteccsr can weigh in on this with an official word.
 
Rei, The SX-1000 does not come with a PS. The 1030 comes with a 300 Watt PS, 1040 has a 400 watt PS, 1035 has a 350 Watt PS. I think you get the point.
 
yep, i understood the naming methodology already.

i was inquiring about the badge.

so it only comes in cases that include the antec psu then, is what i sense the consensus is drawing to.
 
Just email them and ask them for one. The'll probly send you one free. And I emailed them about all the slone sx1030/a040's and there reply was
There are other manufacturers that sell cases that are very
similar ours. The two ways that you can tell if they are authentic Antec
cases are if it has an Antec model number and if the power supply that
comes with the case is an Antec power supply. I hope this has been helpful,

Antec is actually one of the clones.

many places are selling the original case and using antec's model numbering because that's easy for consumers to know which one they're selling - with cover, without cover, etc.
 
Wow.. and the moral of this thread is that you never know what you're buying, and you never know from who.

Regardless, I love Antec cases and yeah, I got badges with the ones I've dealt with.
 
Typically without the power supply (our VAR series, SX800 etc) does not come with a case badge since the idea was for system builders to use the case with whatever power supply and so they could put their own badge in the square.

If you one want a badge, contact customerservice@antec-inc.com or 1-888-542-6832 and we'll get one sent out to you.

We're contacting companies that use our name without selling our version of the case (hey we've paid/worked to get our name known we're not about to let other people get a free ride). Not sure how strict we're being on it, but we really don't like it when a customer buys a case expecting it to be ours and it's not (especially if a warranty issue comes up, cause the customer may end up on the short end of the stick).

I contacted Antec today by email for my badge, as I did not receive one with my purchase, and the response was swift, they said that I "could consider it sent".
Antec is first class. 😀

I got one with the SX840 I just bought for a new work machine I'm building. I'm more interested in tracking down an
Athlon MP badge 😀 to put on this machine...anybody know where I can find one? (Years ago, I sent email to AMD and
got maybe half-a-dozen K6-2 badges from them...I wonder if they'd still do that.)
