So two months into my college quarter, living in my own (shared) apt..I've managed to cook for myself and survive off of it all, but have lost about 8 pounds in the process. This is while spending about $60 on groceries each week, full of good quick frozen stuff, knowing our pizza guy on a first name basis..and even occasionally going to our school's dining halls and eating 5-6 plates a visit.
All the while my gym time has been reduced from 3-4 times a week to about 1-2 times a week max. The only other excercise I ever get comes from biking to and from class..going to class is usually just a good 5 minute ride of mostly downhill riding, and going back home is mostly up steep hills which is pretty intense..but is never more than a 10 minute ride.
What were your experiences away from home? And what can I do to get these pounds back? confused;
