Did you like the movie Serendipity?

I just watched the movie a couple of days ago. I heard some good things about it and I decided to rent it. The first half of the movie is pretty good but the latter half does not make too much sense to me. What do you guys/gals think?

I liked it, as did my Gf. Definitely a good first date movie.

when the movie was over i turned to the girl sitting next to me and asked her out. her boyfriend sitting next to her didn't really approve...

good lord, i know americas sweethearts was horribly bad since i saw it. serendipity is supposedly really stupid from all the reviews. hehe doubly bad movie choices.. u poor thing

It actually wasn't all that bad, plus Jeremy Pivens (sp) is pretty funny.

No romantic comedy is going to get good reviews, because most of them are formulaic, cliche, and not original in the least. Romantic comedies are not made for artistic purposes.

That said, that doesn't mean one can't like a romantic comedy. I happen to despise all of them since I don't enjoy knowing the plot of the entire movie before the movie is five minutes old, but I know lots of people who are fine with that. "Bad quality" does not necessarily imply "not entertaining."

haha. no, i didnt pick those out.. my dad rented them for my sis.. definately not a movie i would have rented on my own.
