Did you know Van Damn was supposed to be the predator?!

watched Van Damn documentary (yeah.. lol) on E!.

some interesting facts.

He worked with Chuck norris.
He was predator and actually they started filming, but he did a poor job on purpose, so he is fit/well enough to work on bloodsport.

I missed the first part, so I dont know what real Martial arts training he had.

supposedly he was a teacher at some point..

WTF, on the DVD extras it shows the tests they did for a "monster"/alien that didn't work out. Then they got Stan Winston in IIRC and the awesome Predator was created. Wasn't one mention of Van Damme

On E!, they showed few pics of Van Damn getting into predator custume and makeup. But he signed up be the main character for Bloodsport and he purposely fell/didnt act to get fired from that to work on bloodsport.

I was pretty sure he had no real martial arts training before filming. He was just a good looking gymnast.

I watched it too and don't remember him being mentioned earlier.

The first predator costume sure did suck though :laugh:
