Wonder if this was funded with federal stimulus money? I don't disagree with the results, but its not like we haven't known this for decades already. Or centuries.

Women who maintained a regimen of moderate-to-vigorous exercise throughout the study gained about 13.5 pounds less, on average, than their least-active counterparts, the study found.

The trend was the same among men, but more modest: The most-active men gained about 6 pounds less than the least-active men.

meh, the more I work out the more I am inclined to eat....
That said, I have noticed my fitness level improving when I work out more, just not losing any weight....

If you eat more calories than you burn, you gain weight. Period. Simple physics. Everything else is just another fad.

Heh, losing weight takes both diet and exercise. See the Fat Loss sticky in our very own Health and Fitness forum for details.

I'm pretty sure I just need to take these pills and drink this magic juice. You guys are silly with your working out and dieting.

Well as we learn from Zombieland, cardio will be pretty important come the infected apocolypse. A pill won't save you from that ill.

I have found that light working out does that. However, more than about 25-30 minutes of strenuous excercise does cut down on my cravings for sweets.

I just want to know what's going on in the photo in that article.

They're stretching, though they're both doing it rather wrong.

Hands should be on the leg that's not extended if even necessary for balance. The girl kinda got it right he body just looks all fucked up and contorted.

Metabolism FTW, the only calories I burn are the ones a person normally does from being awake. I eat 4 meals a day + snacks + a shit load of soda and can't break 205.
