Fake EGGS!

My HK friend told me about them a few days ago. Supposedly they are very hard to tell apart from normal eggs. Even the tase it close.

This is crazy, but I must admit it is quite smart. I would never even think about making a fak e egg.

Have you ever cracked open an organic egg and found dirt or a chemical mix?
 
Xinhua has a report about artificial eggs that were apparently sold by a street vendor in Handan, Hebei Province. The report says that the man who took the eggs home found that the eggs' yolk and white were all mixed up, and di not have any flavor. After inspection by "relevant departments" it was found that the dodgy eggs' shells were made from calcium carbonate while the fake yolks were made from a mixture of gelatine, starch and other chemicals.

The red yolk ones aren't really fake, just changed to look better than they are. The others are just nasty.
