No, and sounds false *shrug*

Unless Siberians moved to Ireland long ago.

Red and blond hair was a Neanderthal trait and it passed into European genes. Neanderthal migration patterns I have no idea of. Red haired Homo Sap did migrate from central Asia to and through Europe. Ireland!

edit: Mongols were first described as light skinned and red haired. Taking harums of Chinese wives wiped that out.

You'd think in all that time red-headed women would have gotten somewhat less insane. Nope.

most people who live in the republic of ireland (and scotland for that matter) today are dolichocephalic with very dark hair and matrilineally descended from the neolithic invaders (mtDNA hg H). its highest frequency is probably in Orkney and the Presbyterian Irish all of whom are brachycephalic with low bracial and crural indices.

Mongolians (and other steppe tribes) were very diverse genetically in terms of phenotype, and Genghis Khan is thought by some to have been red-haired.

No I didn't know that. Did you know that I'm most likely haplogroup N? Some of my paternal ancestors spread out from southern Siberia or the Far East and ended up here. Plenty of my distant relatives live scattered across northern Siberia. Fascinating innit?

Nowadays it's rare to see an Asian woman under 35 who hasn't dyed their hair a lighter color. It's almost like they feel naturally black hair is no longer attractive.
