I saw that with two Windows 7 boxes (Dell Optiplex 3010). It had first announced that Windows was not genuine. Thanks, Microsoft, for making us in IT look bad.

Just found out that KB971033 is also related to the constant activation sequence.

I hope that is all.

* Yeah. It does make IT look bad.


KB971033 Was to make pirate windows deactivate but it is not 100% as many are finding out.

Thanks again. Just had to help a relative with this issue. OEM factory-install windows showing as "not genuine". (HUH?)
