Did you have a teacher that you can attribute your ideas for the future to, or your current job to?
I did. He was a former university professor of history. Hard SOB of a marker, but probably one of the most intelligent people I've ever met. He had bits of stone from the Parthenon, Colliseum, Pyramid of Khufu (Great Pyramid of Giza), great wall of china, Chichen Itza...he was the man that got me really interested in teaching history.
My Computer Engineering teacher was the same way. He gave us leeway so we could do whatever we wanted, really. He wasn't really a computer engineering teacher, he was a tech teacher. Tech theater, robotics, communications...He taught me how to do pyro, how to do theater lighting and sound...amazing guy.
Edit: Fixed for spelling.
