I'm sure that you all have heard of it by now as it has been all over the news. I say kick 'em off the force. I could only find this story so far concerning the second victum:

http://www.msnbc.com/local/WNBC/1193633.asp?0nm=-25D

BTW, this happened in NY, New Years Eve (cold as heck outside)

But in summary (the first lady, the one I remember from the news), a lady was driving home from a bar after having a fight with her boyfriend. She had two drinks and was crying on the way home. She stopped on the side to wipe her eyes as she was crying profusely. A cop pulled up behind her and came to her window. She passed the breathilizer. He made her take two sobriety tests, she passed. He waited, then gave her another test...she failed. He then put her in the back of his squad car and drove her around for a half hour. Then he took her back (5 blocks from her house), and told her to strip. She asked why and he said "To teach you a lesson." He made her strip down to her panties and pumps and walk with home in the cold (with her clothes in hand). He was following close behind in his squad car til she got to her house.

The second woman reported a similar incident.

The cop in question is suspend without pay last I heard.

Can you say ABUSE of POWER?

He must have thought, "Badge and a Gun, I can do anything I want!"

I want him in Rikers,in general population, with everyone knowing he was a cop who sexually abused women captors. They will mess him up but good!

Perhaps not, but it appeals to my sadistic nature.

Seriously though, the person used a position of power to play out some kind of sick fantasy, so although thinly sliced salami may be some what extreme, I think he needs to be dealt with seriously.

Damn thats cold! (no pun intended) If I was that lady I would be sueing the cop. First off I wouldn't have taken off my clothes no matter what! What's the cop going to do arrest me? Sure go for it but then I am going to sue him for arresting me without cause some people in this world are so fvcked up!

It's interesting that everyone automatically assumes the policeman is guilty until proven innocent, when we all want "innocent until proven guilty" applied to ourselves. I'm not saying he DIDN'T do what she claims he did, I'm just pointing out that until all the facts are in it's a bit premature to hang him out to dry and contemplate dismantling him, don't you think??????????

I might sound like an idiot but I think the lady got off easy. Instead of goin to jail and paying thousands in fines and having her license suspended she was humiliated for a couple minutes. Oh no. Get over it and quit crying like you where the victim. Maybe everyone would have liked her to drive home drunk and maybe run over a couple kids on the way... Think about it.

That's not the point. If she was drunk, the cop should have pulled her off the road and thrown her in jail. If it's proven that this incident happened, then the cop was going was out of bounds.

That's enough from me, I'll just watch as other here tear you a new one. :Q

I hope he pays big time for it. Think about these women. If you can't trust the police then who can you trust?.

Yes! That's why I walked home naked with my clothes under my arm on New Year's Eve! It was a COP that made me do it!

I'm not saying the cop was right in what he did but think about it. What is better in the long run for the lady. Fines and jail or 1 night of humiliation.. Give me the choice and I'll go to the Super Bowl buck naked before I would choose to be arrested for OWI..

Wow this is just really frigging weird. Obviously the cop was going out of bounds and should be reprimanded stiffly for it.

If this happened, and keep in mind it's not a proven issue yet (although I'll admit to not being terribly surprised if it DID...) then I have a huge question for the women involved. If it was $15 million dollars worth of traumatic to walk home in their undies, then WHY the heck didn't they take the going to jail option and file their complaint THERE!?!?!?!?!
