Did you guys already pre-order your Wii or PS3?
As far as I know there are quite a bit of people who already made deals with their local gaming store to preorder that next gen console.

 
What's the point of pre-ordering? Are they only going to make a certain number of them and then not make anymore?

It's like a ploy to force you to pay full retail price or something.

I never preoder a thing. There is always some store that has it somewhere.

I'll be getting a Wii.

Don't have the money, still waiting to decide if I should buy the PS3 or Wii, and not to mention, it's not smart to buy consoles at launch. They tend to be the models that break easily. It's best to wait a few months at least, and buy then you can find better deals and the systems might actually be available...and less buggy.
 
Well selling it on eBay is one thing, but I bought my Xbox 360 Plat to play a few games. Mainly Kameo and PDZ. But PDZ was a huge dissapointment.
Don't know if it will sell out like the 360, but Wii and PS3 should be pretty popular. I actually believe both will be sold out on release date with Wii definitely the more popular of the two. I'm gonna have to pre-order myself the Wii. 🙂
 
Will be getting the Wii at launch. Unsure if I will preorder it since there are plenty of gaming stores in the Toronto area.
 
The PS3 will sellout in no time. Not because of popularity though. But because the supply looks like it is going to be even more limited than the 360 release.

The Wii is supposedly already in production so I don't see any shortages there.

Gamestop and EB Games supposedly won't be taking PS3 preorders until a couple of months before release. They don't want a repeat of the Xbox360 debacle.
