seems a lot of my friends are.. bit weird

EDIT: Going alone one year and with a date the next counts as different people
going alone both times counts as same 'person' :p

Nope. Skipped my first prom, started the after-party early. Teachers and cops were all over prom, so it would have been a waste of money.
Probably skipping this years prom, too.

Because...? Planning on pretending to cut your wrists on stage or something?

Alcohol and any form of dancing that the school doesn't approve of, i.e. touching would be stopped asap.

Aren't the after-Prom parties the big thing though? Would not going to the Prom disqualify you from any of those? Did you go to any?

The after-prom parties are normally hosted by students, so I just went to those with some people while the prom was going on, then people would show up half-way through the night.

I didn't go to jr prom.

I went to my sr prom however and had a blast.

I also went to my ex gf's senior prom couple yrs later. (she was 3 yrs younger than me)

proms are fun. :) people trash it or whine about the cost are just sore loners. It's once in a life time event. Step outside of your PC and live a little. (Sorry, I've wanted to say this from the last "did you go to your prom" thread)
