Did you ever stop to think that the voice inside your head probably does'nt sound at all like you???

Actually, i have thought about this before. In your head, you voice sounds VERY different than what other people hear. It's like watching a video recording of yourself - you always think to yourself "That doesn't sound like me!"

Hmmmm 🙂

I have a few of them, and none really sound like me, because none of them ARE me.
I don't really talk to myself, I just have a nonexistent panel of witnesses who assess and process actions and thoughts for me.

Do you mean the "Voice" that tells me to do "Things" or my voice?

I know MY voice sounds different, (resonance and all.)

But I think that "OTHER" voice sounds the same anyway I hear it....

Maybe I just dreamed this up, but I seem to recall there used to be a headset thing that you could purchase that had little hearing aid like attachments that worked as microphones. Supposedly, it would record the sound of your "head voice" (the way your voice sounds to you, internally) and then be able to playback for other people what it sounded like.

Yeah, my "head voice" sounds different from my recorded voice. I hate the sound of my voice recorded. I'm always like "Hell no, that's not me. I'm Mr. Suave when I hear my own voice..."
