Now how many of you are old enough to remember 'Clackers' (probably also known by other names)? Two plastic-resin (hard like glass) balls at the ends of a piece of string. You'd grab the
center of the string, and move your hand so the balls 'clack' together. This fad was HUGE...briefly. Flying bits of the balls proved to be hazardous, and they were recalled.
I remember Mom taking mine away :(

Oh god you name it and I was there....

Swatch watches, a few of them with some of the lame accessories, now that I can look back on that I realize exactly how cheap they were and such a waste.

Yomega Yo Yos as well as Duncans

Z Cavaricci Jeans

Marithe and Francious Girbaud Clothes (Sp?)

Buying anything from the "Chess King" or shirts made of Rayon

Reebok "pump" shoes when they were the latest technology

Same for nike Air shoes

Triple Fat Goose jackets for winter

Had to have the denim jacket back in the day

Moon boots when I was really young

Acid and stone wash denim

Pegged my pants for a while when that was in

I remember when skateboarding was the "in" thing and I had to have one but my parents wouldn't shell the money because they knew I would drop it so they bought me a Nash board when all of my friends had the nice pro boards

I remember the sweat band thing but never got into it

Also there was a time when everyone who was everyone had to wear a ball cap that was fitted, the adjustable one size all ones were just not the same

Had to have a Super Soaker to shoot people in class

When nike cortez sneakers were the rave

There is alot more but I just cannot remember, the only thing I didn't get into were chuck taylors, never really interested me for the style, but now I might pick up a pair to see what I missed :)
