tooth fairy

I actually believed in the tooth fairy and leprechauns. I tried to make a fake tooth to stick under my pillow for money and it didn't work. So I figured perhaps she knew it was fake or the tooth fairy was fake.

On Saint Patrick's I would hunt around for leprechauns. Especially near clover thinking if I ever found the little green bastard I'd be rich.

I guess it goes to show you that if money is involved, my sense of wonder and belief were more persistent.

I did as a kid, but I was so young that it never really occurred to me to really question it (like lack of tracks on the roofs, that should have been obvious!) and when I was told he was not real it was not that huge of a deal to me. I knew that most presents came from my parents and then a few from Santa. I still knew the true meaning of Christmas so that was never really lost.

Yeah, until I was 7 or 8. Thinking about it, the idea seems kind of cruel when you have wealthier kids talking to poor kids about what Santa brought. Hmm...

Never fell for any supernatural bullshit.

Jesus, Santa, Easter bunny, Tooth Fairy, all were obvious failed mind control plots.
