Did You Eat Spaghetti-O's as a Kid? What are they like today?

I used to drive my father crazy cause I loved Spaghetti-O's and those canned Raviolis while I rejected "real" Italian food that my mom would make. Of course hadn't had them in twenty years or so and I love "real" Italian now.

Question: How do they taste to an Adult palette?

Maybe some young parents can chime in.

They are the most revolting, stomach-churning, gag-inducing "food" products known to man. I can feel the bile rising in my throat just thinking about them.

My 8 year old used to love them, but then apparently his palate developed and now he won't go near them.

maybe its just the cheap college student, but i can still eat spaghetti o's....they're not the greatest thing around, but definitely edible and enjoyable for just an easy thing to make

Like Chef Boyardee ravioli... Open the can, invert over mouth, swallow whole at room temperature.

I don't like the Spaghetti-O's, but I'll happily eat the raviolis or the cannellonis. Like Chooie, I've also eaten them out of the can, but that's because I lack a discriminating palate.

I used to love alphagettis (or how ever you spell it)... I just bought a can for my son last week for a cheap lunch... I opened the can and almost threw up... I am NOT feeding him this sh!t ever... I had to phone my mother and give her sh!t for feeding me this when I was a kid...

i can remeber eating spaggety-o's when i was a kid and thinking that they were like the best food on the planet. the other day i fed them to my daughter and for the nostalgia of it i had a taste and it was absolutely DISGUSTING i couldn't stomache it but she loved it so i can only think that kids taste buds aren't fully developed and that's why they taste good when your a kid but not when your older.

Chef Boyardee spaghetti for me. Stick the stuff in the microwave for a few minutes and poof, instant meal that doesn't suck that much. Better than my actual attempts to cook. Oh yeah, make sure you take the spaghetti outta the can first, you don't wanna learn that hard way.

I love the meat filled Raviolis, I also can eat them at room temperature The only variety I cannot stand is the Beefaronis. Yuck!:disgust:

Not a fan of spaghetti-Os. I probably liked it better when I was a kid. I loved the ravioli then and now. Nothing beats Kraft macaroni &amp; cheese though... Except maybe velveeta shells &amp; cheese. mmmmmmm
