The only thing offensive about your post was the fact that YOU posted it. I can't stand it when juvenile little brats like you attempt to expose some mass mistake on society's part. Again, nobody thinks you're a bad guy - you aren't even deserving of the name. You're a little brat who's in need of some attention. I hope this fills some void for you, toy.

who would you have preferred to post it?

Somebody who actually had a point. Somebody who was artful about it, did it with style, had some character. This is just dumb.

I don't think anyone REALLY cares. I'm sure a lot of you have expensive computers and all these neat toys, but did you really need that stuff? You could have probably fed some african village for a week, but no, having the latest version of some video card is more important to you :p
I think people are just full of crap. You donate like $5 bucks, so you can block it out of your mind I think, but really, most people don't care, and then I'm a bad guy because I'm honest about it.

he actually does have a point here. most people dont care because it didnt happen to them or anyone they know and it happened so far away, they donate not becausse they want to but because they dont want to be lables as someone that did not donate

I disagree. I think most people donate out of the goodness of their heart and not because of the stigma they might encounter for not donating.

lol you think I'm trying to be "bad" when really I'm not.
this will be news to you, but you aren't obligated to help anyone. there is a difference between not helping someone because you aren't at all responsible and actually going out and causing harm.

I'd also like to mention that I didn't donate, and I had no intention to do so. Who exactly would I be sending my money to? Where would the money be put to use? Why would I toss them some dollars when there are children starving in my own city?

You know, most people donated because they wanted to, not because they felt obligated to. I didn't donate, and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

But Lorn those are just excuses! You have to help those poor tsunami victims! That money would go so much further over there, and some people over here are beyond help anyways and that tsunami effected everyone in the region no matter how hardworking and talented they were!

I think my point stands. Take a poll of ATOT for a (mis)representation. Those who donated WANTED to donate. Those who did not (like me) didn't want to because we care more about ourselves.
