Did you do anything to celebrate Chinese New Year?

I just had Dim Sum in Chinatown, in Chicago! It was really good. Since it's also Lincoln's Birthday, all the Chicago public schools were out, so there were lotsa little punk kids running around Chinatown making a nuisance of themselves. Did you do anything?

was my sister bday so we went out for dinner.. which happens to be Chinese new year.

Well since I am chinese anyway.. yes I do celebrate Chinese New Year

So far me got £270 Which is roughly something like $386.96 USD, using teh good ol yahoo currency converter.

Stuff it away in the bank.. wait for it to grow a little.. and then blow it on soemthing big.. how about a nice upgrade? But parents would probably have a go at me for spending.. Hmm.. well save up for my first car BMW 316 apparently.. if i get into a top 10 Uni in teh U.K.. Hmm..

Rant over..

Wish I could let off some fireworks in the back garden.. Would be fun Also ahve some family over for evening meal.. which should be very soon..

You don't need to be Chinese to celebrate Chinese New Year. Why not just join in with the celebrations? Don't need to be chinese to join in for them. What you just said there was realy to be honist unnecesary, especially when this thread was intended to be a happy and joyous one.

checked out the olympic women's luge competition...pretty awesome....
then had dinner with a few of my friends...
now i'm stuck at work ...

wait, i watched one of my buddies smoke 18 (yes thats 2 short of a full pack) marlboro reds at once. used a rubber band to hold all of them together, and took about 5 matches to light all of them. i got pics if anyone wants to see....

Rushed to college only to find out that class was cancelled. Then went on to the lab to finish my lab work. Had to work in the dining halls for 2 hours after that and attend a lab from 6 - 9pm. Came home all pissed, ate RAmen and did hw till now.

I got zilch for red packets. Family and relatives are half a globe away.
