I was using my computer late last night and I decided to get some sleep. I tried shutting my PC off but I accidently clicked on "sleep mode" instead. Fast forward 8 hours later and my PC fails to boot properly. I disconnected the power cord, flip the PSU switch off, plug the power cord back in and switch the PSU switch back on. All of the fans are running but I notice that all the LED's coming from my PC are blinking and I also hear a high pitch noise. After about a minute or two, the PC shuts off by itself but the high pitch sound remains until I hit the PSU switch to the off position. Keep in mind that the power button on the front of my tower no longer works and if I switch the back PSU switch off and then back to on, the computer repeats the "high pitch noise/blinking LED's" process for about 2 minutes and then shuts off. When my computer is "on", I get no video at all and the motherboard does not post. I've tried different ram, different hard drives, resetting the motherboard, took out the motherboard battery and then put it back in, disconnected my DVD drives and I've also disconnected my video card. My question is, is it possible that my PSU is stuck in "sleep mode"? Any ideas as to what my problem seems to be? Btw, I had all of the latest drivers, Bios and firmware updates.
