moving on to clean install of XP & I've got access to a copy of LW3 downloaded from creative for win98.
don't really want to have to purchase the creative cd with LW3 on it since they stopped web access to it!
anyone remember for sure??

No.

LiveWare 3 for Win2K and LiveWare 3 for Win9x are completely different. I'm not sure that you can use LiveWare 3 for Win2K on XP (since I am using the Audigy LiveWare instead), but it should be OK for XP, as long as you update the drivers immediately afterwards.

Andi, I'm not 100% clear on your meaning here but are you saying that LW3 for win98 should work in a clean install of XP as long as you update the drivers immediately afterwards?

just download the xp driver. it has livewire on it. I think livewire for win 2k is still there. even though they said they stopped it already, it's still there. if you do a search, one of our members found it.
