Did we lose the forum archive?

I wanted to search for some old posts... but noticed the Archived option is gone. So I tried the new calendar search but nothing comes up. Is everything gone?

I think they were taken offline for indexing. I'm surprised they're not back yet.

I know...

If they can't get the archive indexed into this current version of the forums, at the very least they could put the old forum software/db on its own subfolder/subdomain in a read only mode. Lots of good stuff I go back to every once in awhile.

They need to get it back for tax time.

Those threads are invaluable.

Any news on this?

Yes, my bookmarked old favorites are online. Check yours.

well, thats all good, but I thought we were talking about searching the archives. I still don't see an interface for that. I was looking for the LordMaul caffeine post that I don't have marked as a favorite.

I'd really appreciate restoring access to the forum archive as well. Any word on if this will happen?

Some of those old (famous to me) posts are a overview/ summary of years of experience and collecting of information on narrow fields of expertize. I'd be proud if any were mine, but they're not.

I'm sure the admins are very busy now (thanks people!) smoothing out the recent changes, but the data in AT archives is irreplacable, and probably not avaliable elsewhere for any amount of money.

Yea. Sometimes I want to scream repost from years ago, but don't have the archives to search and use as proof. :(
