is it just me or is it insane not to ask for ID..

this isnt a small town, this was in Los Angeles...i could just go grab a phone book, find names and go to all the different polling sights in the city and cast votes

In Arizona, if your name is on the rolls, you don't have to show ID. If it's not you need to present your voter registration card.

There were having confusion on my last name, so I proceeded to pull out my ID. Next thing I know, 4 poll workers go "NO ID REQUIRED!!"

I was like WTF, took my ballot card, and hid in a booth. This is Riverside, CA

No ID needed this year here in the L.A. 'burbs. Just brought in the filled-out sample ballot that was sent in the mail, signed in and that was that.

'Course, the older ladies running the polling place-slash-garage found it more fit to complain about being tired and it already being their bed-time (when I showed up at a little past 7:30PM) as opposed to making sure we were who we claimed to be.
