Not a proven fact.
But if it turns out to be true you need to ease yourself into the fact that no GOPPER in congress has fucks to give.
So as a public service to your mental health I present to you this thread:

https://twitter.com/SethAbramson/status/1023974646985748481?s=17

Seth Abramson (@SethAbramson) Tweeted:
BREAKING: Less than 48 hours after I wrote the thread below, Rudy Giuliani, Trump's lawyer, has told CNN that his *new* defense of Trump is that Trump was not "physically present" at the infamous June 2016 Trump Tower meeting between his top campaign officials and Russian agents.

SO.. for the betting folk?
1. Will this narrative be validated?(yes)
2. If so, will gop congress give a fuck?(no)

If it's an older phone system, couldn't he just do an extension dial into whatever room they were in and tele-collude? That would be *very* hard to trace, if not impossible depending on the age of the phone system.

It's a familiar Abramson thread where there's a lot of inference, so I wouldn't call it a jackpot, but... Mueller really should be looking into whether or not Trump was listening in on that meeting. That's the kind of discovery that could be instrumental to targeting Trump himself, not just his associates.

I guess we'll see how badly they have Manafort's dick in a vise here soon. He could be a source of corroboration about what occurred in that meeting.

Regardless of whether he was present it seems like he is implicated in the conspiracy regardless? If he was aware of it ahead of time he still allowed them to use his personal office space to conduct the meeting in order to secure benefits for himself.

It is still one of those big ass lies... eventually there will be enough of them to cut down the tree.... Right?

It's not "spying" if you are speakerphone.
I guess it depends if the people in the meet knows he is listening or not...

I think it's highly likely that he did.
No, the GOP won't care and Giuliani will do the media circuit talking about how it's not criminal and if he did it was just to ensure no colluding was happening.

Oh, for sure -- it's just that Trump eavesdropping would be more of a smoking gun, making it so that he can't even try to pretend that he didn't know what the meeting was for or what happened.
