Well, I've got my health anyway, kinda. ;):D

Just this week alone I managed to have to view kiddie porn as part of an investigation, threw out my back, told I might lose my job (didn't, that's good), sister-in-law is leaving my brother and taking the kids, IRS said they want some money back from like 4 years ago from my wife (before we were married) and my mother just called and told me my cousin has testicular cancer and gets one of his boys removed tomorrow morning in preparation for the long battle (hopefully not) with cancer. Oh yeah, my other brother had surgery on his wrist this week too and last week I found out I need about $1000 worth of dental work that I don't have dental insurance for (thankfully, the wife's plan covers it). Damnit this week sucked!

That sucks :) Mine went well so I won't belabour it, but earlier this month things were not. The older I get the more I realize that as something bad comes along something better can kick it to the side. I think by the tone of your post you probably know this already ;)

Well, I had an interview they clained I would know if I got the job by the end of the week. As of right now I don't know. On top of that my puppy jumped off the couch and broke her foot :( I haven't seen her for 2 days, but I'll be able to pick her up in the morning. I hope for a quick recovery.

friend got in a car accident on the way to a movie . . . he's in the hospital with a broken leg . . . thing is, i was going to be in that car had i not wanted to browse FS/FT and ATOT :(

Found out the insulation in my attic has a one in three chance of having asbestos in it. It will cost $10K to remove it if it does, before I sell my house. I'm having to move because my 20 year old daughter couldn't keep a pecker out of her and is preggers so now we'll need more bed space. This is all happening just five years before I was planning to retire. My wife is now moments away from going to the emergency room from some pain ailment in her female plumbing which she had outpatient surgery on last week.

All is good. It could be worse. The wife is finally asleep now. I'm getting fvcked up. And, I can always buy my my way out of the preggers situation.

And yet we still find time to post on ATOT. These trouble-free @ssholes here in ATOT should thank us for brining them down! LOL! Thanks for the humbling contributions fellas. It all comes out in the wash, or so they say.

my week has been pretty nice so far.

nothing crazy going on at work, and I had a great year-end review + raise. my apartment is still a mess, I also need a haircut, and I've been meaning to drop by the local comic book store all week, but I'll probably take care of all of that this weekend.

My current long-overdue project at work is beyond hopeless and the high level architecture has dramatically flipped around on critical issues like where data is stored, which systems are authoritative, and which layers do actual manipulation about half a dozen times in the past week.

Monday night the jeans tore while bending down to pick something up, about a 6" tear at the top of the left leg. So I was walking around outside with the boxers showing for a bit in teens/single digits.

3 times in a week trains have been fvcked to the point I just got out and walked. Twice due to track fires, on different lines, once due to a water main break.

The water main break was across the street from my apartment, which meant that wednesday night, and yesterday morning while trying to get ready for a 1st date, I had no water and ended up going to a gym to shower. There was a line at the gym for this, since hundreds of neighbors had the same idea. The lack of water also presented problems with last minute kitchen cleaning and laundry. Last night at least went well!

Tonite I got a cancellation (different girl).

..well it rained a lot..then it got cold with no rain..now it's raining again. I think it did the same thing last year too. :confused:
