If you don't play on Live, or don't mind going through an extra hoop, you can softmod your Xbox and install Xbox Media Center. The softmod process is quite easy and completely reversable.

www.xbox-hq.com has tutorials on how to softmod. It's really easy, took me about ten minutes to get everything up and running. You'll need to buy an Action Replay or similar device so you can connect a Xbox memory card to your PC so you can transfer over the exploited save files and you'll need a copy of Splinter Cell, Mechassault or 007 Agent Under Fire green case only versions. The rest of the software is completely free.:)
