Did they make a 128 meg Gf3 Ti200?

yeah i have two!

both are gainward GF3 powerpack golden sample ti450 128mb.

this card holds the current record for longest video card name.

this claims to be a ti200 with 128 meg?? maybe they ment ti450?

This is the ad:

GAINWARD CARDEXPERT GEFORCE 3 TITANIUM TI 200 128MB 4.0NS DDR W/TV-OUT (RETAIL)

GeForce3 TI200 (128MB)GOLDEN SAMPLE (RETAIL PACKAGE)
(Part - VC-GA-010)

I think the Ti450 was a Geforce2 card - this maybe.
Heck, I found a few 128MB Geforce2 MX cards on Pricewatch. THAT is overkill for a card like that.

I have a 128MB MSI Ti200 128MB
its an alright card!
overclocks decent, (almost Ti500 speeds) and obviously at those speeds the FPS is decent!!

Gainward has their own "model" numbers that they add to their cards when they produce them, so even though it is a GF3 Ti200, it's also a GF3 Ti/450, and it could have up to 128megs of ram. The only 128meg GF3 cards were the Ti/450 and the Ti/500.

That Ti200 is not a bad card, you can probably overclock it up to the Ti500 speeds.

a lot of companies made 128 MB geforce3 ti200's. they weren't really any faster than the 64 MB cards, though, and in some cases were slightly slower due to increased ram latencies. tomshardware had some big articles about the benefits of 128 MB or ram on the geforce3 core from about a year ago.

btw, to the best of my knowledge no ti500 was ever made with 128 Mb of ram. it was a ti200 only kinda thing.

Check out Gainward's site. They have a Ti500 card with 128megs listed in their support.
