did "The Thin Red Line" put you to sleep?

I didn't like Thin Red Line very much. It wasn't up to par with Saving Private Ryan. I haven't seen it in a long time, though.

No it did not put me to sleep. It is one of my favorite movies. I'm not alone... lots of critics adored it. Also, martin scorsese named it the 2nd best film of the 90's, after some obscure chinese movie no one who isn't a millionaire has seen.

My friends and I pulled out a cellphone to call people and tell them how awful the movie was. this was back in like 1997-98, so cellphones weren't all that common yet, but my friend had one. Didn't really bother anyone because everyone was asleep. Absolutely worst movie I have ever seen in the theater. I can't even remember if we stayed to the end or if we went home, all I remember is that it was boring...

I never sleeped to even the boringest of movies/shows, but it just had to be that one. One I really wanted to watch.
