Sounds to me like the only thing it did was tell PBC that they could not summarily dismiss the dimples, which really does nothing... Did i misinterpret?

I know nothing. I did hear though that the voting booths or whereever it is that the ballots are punched get clogged with chad and have to be cleaned out cause you can't punch the chad out when that happens. This is apparently the issue with the pregnant, or dimpled chad and why the Republicans are so Bad in trying to abort them.

Umm... if you didnt hear aboutthe court ruling then why... oh nevermind.

Or perhaps it was a person who was gonna vote for one of the candidates, but decided that h/she didnt like ANY of them and changed their mind... You cannot read the will of the people by looking at a piece of paper.

What about the ballots where the ONLY non-punched/dimpled vote was for president? Should these votes count even thouh the person obviously KNEW how to vote, but didnt make a vote for president?

It doesn't say anything new. Intent of the voter is the standard that has been suggested by the court all along. If the Florida Supreme Court did not set specific standards (that really would have been writing laws which could have gotton their whole opinion thrown out), I doubt the circuit court would ever force standard on the county.

One of the three members said that it just allows them to proceed as they have been doing. That they can decide whether to count a dimple or not which could hurt gore in the end because they threw out a certain amount already. The Gore team wanted those to count.
