Did the new Steam patch break CS:S for anyone else?

Nope, that's not the case cobalt. They screwed the ENTIRE Linux platform with this one patch. Every single Linux server that gets this update will not be able to come back up until they release another patch. Check out the Linux Source Dedicated Server forums over on steampowered to see a lot of pissed off server operators (including myself) not so happy with Valve about this.

I've been having a weird problem too, I doubt it's related though.

Whenever it loads up and gets to the point of displaying the 3d engine after joining the server, the window minimizes and I can't bring the display back up. I've been able to replicate the same problem by just launching CS:S, clicking on "Options," and selecting OK. I have no idea why this is happening.

If I run in windowed mode, this problem doesn't occur. Weird.

Glad I changed my server to Windows 2003 four months ago. I like linux just as much as the next person, but its just NOT possible to expect it to be a good game server OS. There are a good bit of games that just do not have a linux dedicated server.
