Did the IBM APTIVA come in 133 or 166mhz?

i dont remember...my first computer... i remember it had 16MB of ram...and a 28.8k modem...anyone remember the mhz?

I think it came in both. There were a lot of Aptiva models.
I had a 200mhz model, and I think they also made several versions of the 486 in SX and DX versions.

Don't they still make Aptivas today? I thought it was IBM's generic term for their consumer-level desktop. Kind of like Dell's Dimension.

Until six months my neighbour had a Aptiva 133, I know this because it did not meet the 166 system requirement minimum level to run the Bell Canada DSL software.

anyone remember the black one w/ the cd and the floppy being under the monitor rather than in the box? i thought that was sooo cool back in the day. too bad the comp had to be a craptiva.
